World War I Forum
This was the meeting when people told of their ancestors experiences during the First World War. We heard about soldiers who fought in the trenches, a sailor in the Royal Navy, a Prisoner of War and a conscientious objector who served in the Royal Army Medical Corps among others. Many people brought artifacts and memorabilia including medals, photographs, a shell casing and newspaper reports which we found to be very interesting.
